Wire Woven Brooch
This project in an introductory class on wire weaving where we will make a brooch or hair piece and incorporate several wire weaving and coiling techniques as well as some forging. When completed, you can decide whether to add a patina finish or leave your project with the bright copper finish.

26 gauge, dead soft bare copper wire (about 6')

24 gauge, dead soft bare copper wire ( 3" )

16 gauge dead soft bare copper wire (approx. 20")

6/0 or 8/0 Czech Glass Bead or any similar small beads of choice

1 8mm bead
-
1 focal bead (flat disc type bead approx 3/4" to 1" diameter
